Neighborhood Yard Sales

One man’s junk is another man’s treasure…

Twice a year – usually in the springtime and then again in the fall – the Steven Parks Village Neighborhood Association (SPVNA) organizes and promotes a neighborhood-wide yard sale to draw out a crowd.  It’s a great opportunity for residents to make a little extra money by cleaning out their garages, attics, storage buildings,  closets, etc.

It’s also a great way for residents to give back to the neighborhood by donating some of the proceeds from their sale to SPVNA. All donations are tax-deductible and greatly appreciated by SPVNA.

All households participating in the  neighborhood yard sales must obtain a Yard Sale permit from the City of Dallas. Permits are $15.00 and maybe obtained from any Dallas Public Library or Dallas Animal Services, 1818 N. Westmoreland Road,Monday – Saturday 11 am – 6:30 pm, Sunday 12 – 5 pm. You may also obtain your permit online at the City of Dallas website. For more information, contact Dallas Code Compliance at 214-670-5708
